Give WhatsApp a pat on the back

When the agencies, oppressive regimes, hackers and cyber criminals are all hell bent upon infiltrating our privacy and are increasingly having an access to our personal information, the global text communication giant WhatsApp comes up with unique privacy features of end to end encryption, ensuring privacy of our communication to an unprecedented extent.

In simple words the end to end encryption means when you send a message, the only person who could read it is the person or group chat that you send that message to. No one can see inside that message, not cyber criminals, not hackers, not oppressive regimes and not even the Whatsapp itself. End-to-end encryption helps make communication via WhatsApp fairly private, a sort of like a face-to-face conversation.

However, few technical wizards still maintain that this end to end encrypted conversation could still be penetrated into and could be decoded by using advanced hacking techniques. For a very common belief has gained sufficient currency that whatever is on Internet isn’t secure. Even then, the WhatsApp administration needs to be applauded for they have genuinely demonstrated that they keep the privacy and personal liberties of the users supreme.  Where privacy and personal rights of the users are highly compromised on Internet, social media and it’s tools and one is always vulnerable to privacy breach, personal information theft and cyber crimes, this initiative taken by what’s app not only would strengthen confidence of users on what’s app but other social media giant of the ilk of Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft etc would also follow suit and would come up with more security insurance. For all this what’s app administration deserves a pat on shoulder.
