At least three pilgrims including a woman and a child were killed and 20 others injured on Sunday when a bus skidded off Sakraan Road and overturned.
The pilgrims were reportedly going to Shah Noorani Shrine in Balochistan to participate in a religious gathering when the bus met the incident due to over speeding.
Police and rescue teams from Karachi rushed to the scene and shifted the inured and the bodies to a nearby private hospital for treatment and medico-legal formalities. Hospital sources said that five of the injured were in critical condition. The identity of the victims could not be ascertained immediately.
