Police and security forces on Saturday arrested 40 suspects and a target killer during search operations in Muhammad Zai and Nusrat Khel areas.
The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation. The target killer was arrested from the Hayatabad area. Arms and ammunitions were recovered from his possession. SSP operations said that the target killer, Saif* has also confessed to killing of a police sub-inspector.
“The target killer was wanted in various cases”, the SSP operations added. He said the target killer hailed from Afghanistan. Further interrogation is under way.
