Sunday bazaars remained closed for general public for the second consecutive week amid security threats.
The weekly bazaars located in Gulshan-e-Ravi and Iqbal Town Moon Market remained closed on Sunday. Police said the Sunday bazaars will be opened for general public after necessary security measures are taken.
The Sunday bazaars were closed after the Lahore terrorist attack that claimed over 70 lives and injured scores of others.
Local residents have demanded the government to take steps for ensuring security and open Sunday bazaars at the earliest.
