At least four people were killed while 10 others sustained injuries in a trailer-bus collision near Super Highway toll plaza in Karachi on Saturday.
According to details, the accident took place when an ill-fated passenger bus en route to Hyderabad from Karachi rammed into a trailer near toll plaza, killing as many as two persons on the spot and injuring 12 others including women and children.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where several of them were said to be in critical condition and were recommended to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where two more injured succumbed to injuries.
Separately in Okara, as many as two persons were reportedly dead whereas three persons including a woman were wounded as a car hit a truck.
The injured were immediately transferred to the hospital in critical condition while bodies were sent to district hospital in Okara.
Meanwhile, police officers have launched an investigation into the matter after seizing truck.
