Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has threatened to stage a sit-in outside the Punjab assembly building if the government did not fulfill PTI chief Imran Khan’s demand of forensic investigation of Panama leaks.
While talking to media persons outside the parliament house on Friday, he demanded forming of a commission headed by chief justice of Pakistan to investigate the leaks to apprise public of real facts.
Rashid insisted that Panama leaks scandal disclosures was just the beginning and added that further disclosures and leaks were soon to follow.
He said that a thorough investigation should be conducted to verify how the Sharif family managed to stash such a hefty sum was accumulated their offshore accounts.
He said that the public would continue to face difficulties and problems in the future if they did not come on the streets in the support of Imran Khan during his forthcoming sit-in in Lahore.
