Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Friday accepted the resignation of Captain (r) Shujaat Azeem from the office of his Special Assistant on Aviation.
The PM took the step on the continued request of Shujaat Azeem to accept the resignation that had been pending since December 2015, said a PM House statement.
Shujaat Azeem had been serving as Special Assistant to PM on Aviation on an honorary basis without any remuneration since his appointment two years ago.
