Gang rape victim files petition in SC

A female student who was the victim of a gang rape has approached the Supreme Court (SC) on Friday to seek justice.

According to details, a female intermediate student named (M.S) resident of Muzaffargarh has filed a petition in SC through her counsel Zulifqar Ahmed Bhutta.

The petitioner in her petition informed the apex court that Khalid Shahzad Gujjar resident of Muzaffargarh had advertised a job vacancy in his private security firm. She applied for the required post and was appointed. One day the accused and CEO of the firm Khalid Shahzad Gujjar took her for an on field training by some madam in a vacant house located nearby.

“The accused forcefully raped her and made videos, pictures and threatened that if she inform anyone they would leak her video on internet”, the petition added.

She further said that the accused along with other colleagues had been raping her for the last eight months.

Talking to media after submitting the petition, the affected student said that the main accused Khalid Gujjar and his colleagues have not been arrested by the City Police Station of Muzaffargarh so far.

“Although the local police have registered a case against them they did not make any arrest so far as the accused is very influential and close relative of a local parliamentarian. Therefore local police did not take any action against them.

She appealed to the chief justice of Pakistan to take action against the accused.
