In yet another explosive prediction on his TV program, Dr Shahid Masood predicted Saturday night that there will be slight rains on Monday. “i was initially going to say partly cloudy, then i veered towards cloudy,” he said on his show. “But new information has led me to believe, dear viewers, that there just might be rain on Monday.”
“That’s right. You heard it here first, yet another correct prediction on a string of successful ones in the past,” he said. “perhaps i should write all my thoughts in the form of a book of quatrains, much like the prescient nostradamus, famously known as the Shahid Masood of the sixteenth century.”
“This gift of mine, this facility to predict these critical events in history, which have rarely, if ever been wrong, is also a curse,” he said. “it is a curse to always be correct about the future, to wait in despondent dread for a future you and else around you know you are right.” Meanwhile, the Met office in Lahore says Monday is going to be a sunny day throughout the country.
