From a youthful vantage point, it may seem hard to understand just what your Nana, Noni, or Gramps is going through, but thanks to U.S.-based insurance company Gemworth, you can now walk a mile (or a couple of steps), in their shoes.

In a bid to jumpstart the conversation on long-term care, the firm debuted the Genworth R70i Aging Experience, a wearable exoskeletal suit that mimics the physical effects of aging.

Age-related wisdom not included, the innovative experience shows you just what life as an 85-year-old is like. The goal, according to the firm, is to “educate through first-hand experience,” and help garner a newfound respect among younger generations for those who are aging.

And while there may be a few things that the suit cannot imitate, like Alzheimer and dementia, it does seem to be doing a pretty good job of informing the public.
