The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to launch an operation against illegal bus terminals operating in Islamabad.
According to sources, the CDA has sent a list of 10 illegal bus terminals to secretary transport Islamabad seeking help to shut down such bus stands.
According to the list, around 9 illegal bus terminals were functioning on IJP Road and one in Jhangi Syedan. According to the sources, no licenses have been issued to these terminals from CDA and they have been set up on state land. Islamabad Express, Raja Travel, Blue Lines, Faisal Movers and Frontier Punjab Travel and others operate from these terminals.
