Measles Vaccinations: Ignoring Balochistan

For four years Balochistan’s health department has failed to conduct anti-measles campaign in Balochistan. The other provinces are successful in launching campaigns because they are receiving funds from government. Unfortunately in Balochistan, the children are dying of this deadliest disease. So far nearly 1,350 children have been affected in many areas of Balochistan, including Zhob, Ziarat, Pishin, Dera Bugti and other areas. Earlier in 2013, 43 children died and 789 children were affected. Mostly it affects the children at the age of six to ten, but the health department has failed to protect these small kids. I request that the government carries out anti-measles campaigns across the Balochistan and vaccinate all children for their safety.
