Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that operation against terrorists will continue till the elimination of last terrorist. “This is a big achievement of Rangers and police that peace has returned to the city but we are committed to make it sustainable.”
The chief minister said this while talking to DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar who called on him at CM House on Wednesday.
DG Rangers Bilal Akbar briefed the chief minister about the operation against terrorists, targeted operation, Lyari operation and over all law and order situation in the city. The chief minister appreciated the efforts of Rangers in restoring peace in the city. “The challenge is to make the peace sustainable,” the chief minister said. “No doubt our law enforcement agencies with the support of intelligence agencies have achieved big success in combating out terrorists from the outskirts of the megalopolis city of Karachi,” the chief minister said.
The chief minister urged the DG Rangers to ensure smooth and peaceful polling on NA-245 and PS-115 Karachi where polling is being held today.
