As many as three persons including a city police warden were killed in firing incident near Nagan Chorangi area on Tuesday.
According to police sources, some unidentified armed motorcyclists opened indiscriminate fire at a car near Nagan Chorangi area killing two people namely Ateeq, and city warden Abid on the spot. Abid’s daughter Tasmia sustained serious bullet injuries. Police and Rangers reached the spot and shifted the bodies and girl to Abbasi Shaheed hospital where Tasmia succumbed to injuries. The deceased warden was deputed with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Nasreen Jalil for the last eight years. Police registered a case and launched investigation into the incident.
