In less than 24 hours since the dust settled on Waqar Younis’ stint as Pakistan’s national team head coach, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already started looking for his replacement.
The PCB on its website Tuesday posted a vacancy announcement with a list of demands for potential candidates.
To be eligible for the role of head coach, applicants must have a minimum five-year experience working with national or international teams.
Only former Test and international cricketers are qualified to apply for the post, but first-class cricketers with 10 or more years of experience will also be considered.
The deadline for applications is April 25, with assessment and interviews taking place after the aforementioned date.
