Tehmina Durrani, wife of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, has urged the family of her husband to “return all foreign and local wealth to the nation.
“ONLY way to clear Sharif name is to keep minimum, simplify life drastically, return all foreign and local wealth to the nation I.e JINNAH,” Durrani wrote on her Twitter account.

Clarifying her position, Tehmina said that she has been married to Shehbaz Sharif for 14 years, but his family never met her.
Referring to media’s breaking news, she said that she was embarrassed for being equated with the very rich league in the poverty stricken nation.
“If I was rich , my money wld (would) be God’s money , and belong to the poor suffering people of my motherland,” she said.

“Even if off shore companies ,foreign properties ,and accounts ‘mite’ be legal, for ME they are unethical,” Durrani added.
“Illegal is law breaking, unethical is soul selling. The later is a worse crime.”
