Pakistan to support Saudi Arabia in fight against terrorism: Mamnoon

President Mamnoon Hussain said Pakistan will continue to extend strong cooperation to Saudi Arabia to fight the menace of terrorism.

He expressed these views, while speaking with a Saudi parliamentary delegation, which called on him in Islamabad today under Shura Council of Saudi Arabia Chairman, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-sheikh.

The president said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are tied by the bonds of common faith and culture, adding that Pakistan attaches great respect to Saudi government and people for being the custodians of the two holy mosques.

The delegation expressed confidence that strong brotherly relations between the two countries will continue to grow in the days to come.

President addresses young parliamentarians:

Earlier, talking to young parliamentarians in Islamabad, President Mamnoon Hussain said the future of Pakistan was linked with democracy. He said the budgetary deficit has reduced from 8to 4.4 per cent owing to the prudent economic policies of the government.

He urged the young parliamentarian to wage jihad against corruption.

  1. I think he beats Ch Fazl Elahi by miles. The man is clueless about terrorism at home. He should be told to get clearance from someone before he speaks. His MS should be the right person to guide.
