Renowned television actress and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) legislator Kanwal Nauman, who suffered brain hemorrhage two months back, received a warm welcome from her fellow female members when she return to the Punjab Assembly on Tuesday after recovering from illness.
All lawmakers of the Punjab Assembly welcomed her in the House by thumping the desk.
On the occasion, Kanwal said that she got a second life which she wanted to spend while serving the oppressed.
The MPA was rushed to the Jinnah Hospital in Lahore on January 31, 2016 after she suffered a brain hemorrhage at her Gulberg residence. She underwent two operations. The doctors blamed high blood pressure for the stroke.
