Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has expressed reservations over the report submitted by a United Nation Development Programme (UNDP) consultant on voting rights for overseas Pakistanis.
Talking to media after inauguration of a media centre in Election Commission on Tuesday, ECP Secretary Baber Yaqub said the commission was making efforts to conduct next general elections in a more transparent way.
He said there is no room for committing any mistake in the elections, adding that the ECP will also use electronic voting machines as an experiment in the upcoming by- elections and a summary to purchase the machines has also been sent to the prime minister.
