Dengue larva discovered in 3 union councils

3 union councils of the Rawalpindi city have been declared most sensitive after dengue larva has been discovered persistently from these areas.

Anti-dengue crash program has been launched in the union councils including 22 Qayyum Abad, 37 Safdar Abad and 46 Naya Mohalla College Road and these areas have been declared highly sensitive following discovery of larva therein.

At least 8 teams will launch door to door campaign to destroy larva in these union councils. District Health Officer Rawalpindi Dr Rafiq Ahmad has issued directives that different union councils will be allotted to the departments engaged in anti dengue drive so that a focused campaign could be launched.
