CADD Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said that a Child Psychiatric Department will be set up at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Science (PIMS) to deal with children’s psychological cases.
He also said that psychiatrists will also provide counseling to school children on social problems in Islamabad.
While talking to the media on Monday, he said that psychiatric counsellors were being appointed in schools to extend counselling to children on social and psychological issues.
“We owe to our country what we are today. Our experts and doctors should serve the countrymen besides rendering services in other countries,” he said.
