The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will consider the Panama Leaks revelation for the possible initiation of an inquiry against those alleged to have offshore companies, according to reports.

NAB top management will discuss the matter to decide about the initiation of the inquiry.

Over 200 Pakistanis have been identified and the counting is still in progress. However, the list does not include the name of any General — serving or retired. The report though reveals the names owning such offshore companies, it admits that it does not mean that all those having offshore companies have ill-gotten money or are involved in tax evasion or money-laundering.

Certain other Pakistani names reflected in the Panama Leaks have also been under the focus of NAB for different allegations.

  1. If NAB is serious, they should not forget those 200 bn US$ of Pakistanis deposited in the Swiss Banks. That ALL is also black money. And the nation would like to know for whom those 25 money-mules, including Ayan Ali, are working for and how much money they have siphoned out of the country. Those 25 money-mules were pointed out by Dr Asim of PPP who is under arrest for gross corruption. Their 'sponsors' should be exposed. One of the ex NAB Director, Adm Fasih Bukhari, had also pointed out that billions of Dollars are going out of the country through the Airports. What else ammunition NAB wants ?
