In a spectacular show down, West Indies defeated England in the grand World T-20 finale to claim the title of WT20 champions, managing to chase down England’s 155 run target with 4 wickets to spare.
With 19 runs remaining in the final over, nobody, especially one of England finest bowlers Ben Stokes, would have believed that they would be seeing a 6 6 6 6 figure in a single over, but that’s how Carlos Brathwaite rolled, with 3 massive sixes and then another one that was the final nail in the coffin for England. Marlon Samuels was awarded the Man of the Match, with an unbeaten 85 runs.
