As many as five suspects were killed by Sindh Rangers and two by police in different areas of Karachi during raids on Saturday and 16 suspects were taken into custody during the said operation.
Rangers conducted search operations over information from an arrested activist of a criminal gang in Pak Colony, Purana Golimar and Rexer Lines area.
Another 14 suspects were detained in a search operation against miscreants in Rizvia area by Rangers. Weapons were also recovered from the arrested outlaws.
Two dacoits were killed in police encounter in Malir Cantt. A truck loaded with sugar was also captured from the captivity of killed dacoits. On the other hand, Sohrab Goth police arrested two drug traffickers.
