At least 35 people including proclaimed offenders (POs) and illegal Afghan immigrants were arrested, arms and drugs were recovered during a search operation on Saturday.
The police conducted the search operation against outlaws in Hayatabad, Pishtakhara, Machni Gate, Phundo, Armar and Badhber areas of Peshawar.
During separate actions the police arrested 9 POs and 26 illegal Afghan immigrants residing in different areas of Peshawar without legal documents and permission of the authorities.
The police recovered arms including nine pistols, Kalashnikovs, guns, repeaters, rifles, hundreds of rounds and drugs from their possession.
