Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Friday claimed that there is no ‘no-go’ area in South Punjab, local media reported.
Talking to reporters in Lahore, the provincial minister said that search operation has been expedited in Punjab.
“It is a national operation. All agencies, institutions and the nation are involved in this operation. The anti-terrorism operation is underway with full commitment in better interest of the masses,” he said.
He said terrorists are animals; there is no sympathy for them.
Rana Sanaullah further revealed that facilitators are also being detained after arrest of the suspect terrorists.
So far, hundreds of suspects have been arrested during intelligence-based operations in different areas of Punjab following Sunday‘s suicide attack which claimed lives of at least 74 people including many children in Gulshan Iqbal Park in Lahore.
Some 8,000 people were present in the park when the bomb was detonated in the early evening.
Earlier on Wednesday, the CIA police killed 5 terrorists during raid in outskirts of Lahore.
