PMIC takes notice of illegal appointments in FDE

Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission (PMIC) has taken serious notice of the illegal appointments in the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE). The PMIC recommended actions against four involved officials.

The PMIC had received complaints that the directorate of education recruited people without following prescribed rules and regulations, said an official of the commission while talking to APP.

“There is no forum to challenge the decision of PMIC except for the prime minister who could be appealed within 30-day of issuance of the decision,” he added.

He said that the PMIC played a very effective role in eliminating corruption from federal and provincial government departments.

Answering a question, he said that PMIC was monitoring and bringing further transparency in the mega projects by reviewing the entire process from opening tender to its completion.

Commenting about the pending public money in Madaraba scandal, he said that NAB was asked to conduct inquiry into the scam which subsequently recovered the money from people involved in looting the masses and the recovered amount would soon be disbursed to the affectees.

He said that PMIC was making efforts to ensure good governance, transparent and accountable administration in the federal and provincial governments’ ministries, divisions, departments and autonomous bodies, town committees through monitoring, evaluation and enabling guidelines.
