Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday visited Planning Division of Pakistan where Federal Minister for Planning and Development (P&D) Ahsan Iqbal briefed the PM about the progress of development projects in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Premier Nawaz Sharif said that his government has doubled the developmental budget since it took over the administrative charge of the country.
He said, “Now our focus is on implementing the energy and other infrastructure projects at the earliest”. Investment and economic growth is linked with successful implementation of these projects, he added.
The PM said that delays in the implementation of these projects won’t be tolerated. Transparency and efficiency must go hand-in-hand. Pakistan has achieved an irreversible economic stability during our government, he maintained.
