An employee of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was assaulted and inured by a passenger within the Cantt police jurisdiction.
Noreen Khalid, a duty officer at PIA Mall Road office, lodged a complaint with the local police that Zaman Khalid, who had missed a flight, turned up at the office and demanded the ticket to be refunded. When he was denied the sum, he assaulted him with a chair and injured him.
The injured was rushed to a local hospital for medical aid.
The police have registered a case and started investigation.
