Pakistan has sought Tehran’s assistance in arresting and investigating an Indian spy agency RAW’s operative Rakesh alias Rizwan currently residing in Iran.

Interior Secretary has written a letter to Iranian ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost, asking Tehran to arrest and hand over Rakesh to Islamabad.

He also asked the ambassador to appraise Islamabad the details of already held RAW officer Kulbhushan Yadav’s residence, his business activities and the people he was in contact with during his stay in Iran.

The interior secretary also asked Tehran to share the details of RAW network on Iran’s soil.

The letter told the Iranian authorities that Yadav was arrested on Pakistan-Iran border.

The Indian spy was arrested on March 03, 2016 when he was entering the Pakistani territory from Iran.
