Nation united against terrorism: Shehbaz

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that there is no room for terrorism, extremism and sectarianism in Pakistan adding that a decisive war is being fought against the terrorists and their facilitators and the whole nation is united against them. He said that the war against terrorism will be taken to its logical end and the elements involved in the bloodshed will not be able to escape justice.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of elected representatives, here today. Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistani nation has rendered supreme sacrifices in the war against terrorism and those who have killed innocent Pakistanis are finding no place to hide. He said that a war is also being fought with commitment and determination against lawlessness, poverty and ignorance.

The chief minister said that cowardly activities of enemies of humanity cannot weaken the resolve of the nation to achieve its objectives. He said that every Pakistani is grieved at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park tragedy and that the enemies of peace have displayed worst kind of brutality by attacking a recreational place.

The promise of giving a peaceful, safe and terrorism-free Pakistan to the new generation will be fulfilled and the war against terrorism and extremism will continue till the complete elimination of the menace, he said.

Sharif said that terrorism, sectarianism and hatred in the country will soon be replaced with peace, love and tolerance.
