A minor child died after falling into an open manhole here on Sunday.
Police said that a two-and-half-year-old child, while playing outside his residence, fell into an open and died before he could be rescued in Shehzad Colony of Dera Ghazi Khan.
The body was later recovered. Family of the deceased and dwellers of area held protest demonstration against TMA officials and demanded the Punjab CM to take notice of the incident and award exemplary punishment to those responsible for the negligence.
