  Kidnapped man reaches home  

 

 

One of the four tribesmen, kidnapped in Afghanistan a few days back, reached home on Monday.

Assistant Political Agent Upper Karam said that Sajid Hussain, who was among the four kidnapped from the Sherino Chappar area in the Paktia province of Afghanistan on March 12, returned after he slipped captivity of his kidnappers.

Hussain told the local administration that he and two other kidnapped tribesmen, Syed Jalal Hussain and Nasir Ali, had been detained at the same place while another tribesman, Sabir Hussain, had been kept in captivity somewhere else. He further said that two persons from Bannu district were also in the captivity of the kidnappers at a remote mountainous hideout. He told the local administration that the militants had threatened them that they would kill them if their families failed to pay Rs10 million in ransom.
