As many as 27 suspects including an Afghan national were arrested with arms and drugs in a search operation here on Sunday.
The police and other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel conducted a joint search operation against the outlaws in Christian Colony, Chiraghabad and surrounding areas of Peshawar.
During operation the LEAs arrested an Afghan national among 15 suspects besides recovering arms and drugs from their possession.
The detained suspects were shifted to Phandu police station for further investigation.
