Earlier after Bangladesh win, Pakistani skipper Sana Mir said that we are not afraid of any team here as cricket is played in the ground not on paper, while responding a query about upcoming match against favourite England Women.

She explained Pakistan’s equal chance to win World T20 saying that many experts and observers would have written us off paper but our performance at the mega event has been outstanding. We restricted India and West Indies below hundred to show that how much we have improved in this format of cricket, Mir maintained.

On the occasion, she also thanked the charged Indian crowd which chanted “Pakistan Jeetayga [Pakistan will win]” slogans during the match against Bangladesh. It is highly welcoming to play in a country where people come to watch you play and extend their support, she said.

Pakistan Women have so far played three games at World T20 2016, winning two matches against Bangladesh and India. They had a close contest against favourite West Indies as well.

On the other hand Pakistan Men team managed to win only one game against Bangladesh, losing three matches against India, Australia and New Zealand. The team has been eliminated from mega event.
