At least two people died and 16 others received burn injuries when an oil tanker caught fire after overturning here on Saturday.
Rescue sources said that the oil tanker caught fire after it turned turtle due to speeding in Gujrat Town of Muzaffargarh district.
Two people died in the accident while 16 others were injured. The injured were shifted to Nishtar Hospital for treatment where condition of some of them was stated to be serious.
The fire tenders reached the scene after a long delay and extinguished the fire after efforts of more than an hour.
