When asked if she was trying to break her ‘lover girl’ image, Sonakshi said, “I think it just so happened. I just think that the roles were really good. I felt that I could pull them off and also look convincing while doing action.”

The AR Murugadoss directorial Akira, will treat the audience to a martial arts sequences performed by Sinha as well. “I have done something that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. I am very happy about that,” said the actor. She has previously worked with the director Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty.
