Cancer of terrorism will be eliminated from country soon: Mamnoon

President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the cancer of terrorism would be completed eliminated from Pakistan soon.

While addressing at the awards ceremony for the participants of Pakistan Day Parade, President Mamnoon said that Pakistan will soon overcome the menace of terrorism.

The president praised the sacrifices rendered by the security forces in the war on terror. He said Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been successful in eliminating network of terrorists to a great extent.

Mamnoon commended the troops for successfully organising the Pakistan Day parade. He further said that no effort will be spared to meet the requirements of the armed forces to ensure internal and external security of the country.

The president said that the JF-17 Thunder jets and Burraq drones spoke volumes about the country’s self-reliance in defense.

He said the spectacular show gave a clear message to the enemy that the country’s armed forces are fully capable to defeat their sordid designs.

Earlier, the president gave away shields to participants of the parade.
