Metro Station in Brussels has also been attacked after two explosions rocked Brussels Airport.
An explosion at Brussels metro station close to European Union institutions, says Belgian broadcaster. According to foreign media, the blast was reported on the Brussels metro at Maalbeek station.
The Mallbeek station is also near a number of important EU buildings such as Berlaymont building, which houses the EU Commission and the Council of the European Union.
