Industrial Estate would be established in Bahawalpur to bring new industries in the area and open new business ventures.
Commissioner of Bahawalpur division Capt (r.) Saqib Zafar on Monday told APP that the new industrial estate would comprise 483 acres of land and will bring new job opportunities for the residents of Bahawalpur.
He said that work on the beautification of Bahawalpur was underway and historical gates were being restored to their original condition while a canon has been installed near Farid gate to reflect the rich history of the city.
He told that work on a new circular road would start shortly which will be constructed from Railway Station to BINO Hospital via Bindra Pulli, Dewan Pulli, Sadar Pulli and Kali Pulli.
