The custom officials foiled a bid to smuggle five hundred grams of heroin abroad, here at General Post Office (GPO) Lahore on Monday.
Custom officials said that during search of a parcel booked for Holland, 500 grams of heroin worth hundreds of thousand rupees concealed in books was recovered.
The recovered drug was taken into custody and the police, after registering a case against the accused who booked the parcel, have started raids for his arrest.

It's crazy how brave these drug smugglers are. Glad the drug was caught by law enforcement before it found its destination. Good on everyone involved for capturing the drugs. Hopefully more are found based off this evidence.
