Two bullet-riddled bodies found from city

As many as two bullet-riddled were recovered from Korangi Crossing early Sunday morning.

Rescue sources said that after being spotted by dwellers of the area, two bodies were taken into custody from Korangi Crossing area of Karachi. The bodies were shifted to mortuary of a local hospital for medico-legal formalities. One among the deceased was identified as Shumail Beg.

Police said a 30 bore pistol and three used bullets were also found the bodies and the deceased were shot dead from close range. The police, after registering a case against unknown murderers, have started investigation.

YOUTH DEAD, EIGHT HURT IN ROAD MISHAP

A youth died and eight others including three women were injured in separate road accidents on Sunday.

Police said an over-speeding van hit a motorcycle carrying mother and son at National Highway near Shah Hussain Bypass in Khairpur. Motorcyclist Abdul Ghaffar Gillal, 30, died on the spot in the accident while his mother Jamilan Gilla sustained wounds. The van driver fled the scene of accident. The body and the injured lady were shifted to Civil Hospital Khairpur. Meanwhile, seven people including two women were injured in separate incidents of collision between motorcycles near Faiz Gunj locality. The injured were shifted to a local hospital for treatment where condition of two wounded people was stated to be serious. The police after registering separate cases in all incidents at respective police stations started investigation.

MAN KILLED IN ACCIDENT

A man was killed on Sunday in a road accident in the metropolis.

According to rescue sources, an unidentified man, aged around 45, was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him near Furniture Market, in Karimabad. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.
