Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Monday issued complete report on destruction caused by heavy rainfall in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in the past 10 days.
The rain began late Thursday across the country, the southwestern province of Balochistan and northwestern KP, were the worst hit.
According to the report, as many as 30 people have lost their lives while 22 have sustained severe wounds between 11 to 20 March.
It stated that 9 people dead in Chitral, five in Peshawar, two in Bannu, two in Swabi, five in Lower Dir, one in Tank, two in Malakand, one in Lakki Marwat, one in Shangla and two have succumbed to injuries in Mardan.
Poorly-built homes, particularly in rural areas, are most susceptible to collapse during heavy spring rains.
About 111 houses have been demolished due to heavy downpour in the province. 33 houses were destroyed in Peshawar, 15 in Abbottabad, 16 in Swabi, two in Bannu, two in Lower Dir, one in Tank, eight in Malakand, four in Upper Dir, two in Lakki Marwat while 13 houses were collapsed in Shangla.
As many as 154 animals were also killed in the natural disaster.
On the other hand, the overall death toll from torrential rain has risen to 90. The heavy showers also triggered landslides in various areas of Azad Kashmir which left several homes destroyed. Communication system also went down due to the rain.
