Shafqat Amanat Ali’s performance disappoints, fans take to Twitter to complain

To mark the first T20 between India and Pakistan played at Eden Gardens, super star Amitabh Bachan and Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali were invited to sing the national anthem’s of their respective countries.

Amitabh Bachan’s performance was much appreciated by viewers, and many took to twitter to show their appreciation.

But many fans in Pakistan were not pleased with Shafqat’s performance. “National Anthem” is still trending on Twitter as messages of disappointment flooded the social media site.

Many commented that the pressure may have gotten to the singer, as his performance was not up to par. Others commented that the singer had made mistakes while singing the anthem. And still others commented that Amitabh Bachan’s performance was far better.

It is loud and clear. Amitabh Bachan is a much better singer than Shafqat Amanat Ali.
