Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Saturday said that if court issued arrest warrants for former president Gen. (r.) Pervez Musharraf then the government would bring him back through Interpol.

He added that the court has not ordered to place Musharraf’s name on Exit Control List (ECL) in any case.  He was talking to media here today.

The minister said that allegation against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) for receiving funds from RAW was not new. “The interior minister has constituted a committee and a case will be registered against MQM chief and other leaders who found guilty in this regard if solid evidence was found in this regard,” he said.

He said that approach of religious leaders on Women Protection Act was not appropriate.

Letters have been sent to the religious scholars seeking their help to make amendment if the act has any lapses.
