Islamabad – Our Commando Correspondent: In what looked like a scene right out of an action movie, a brave former commando of the Special Services Group (SSG) escaped from enemy captivity on Saturday.

Pervez Musharraf (Corps of Artillery) made a dashing escape from his captors who had caught him while he was fighting in the name of the motherland. Despite having fought in two wars, this was his first time in captivity but he still manage to handle himself well and escaped with great panache.

“It is amazing what he has managed to do,” said Sagheer Ahmed, a political analyst. “He actually came back and managed to get away again. Unbelievable.”

Musharraf, a 29th Long Course PMA graduate, is said to be fearless. He is said to be fearless most often by himself. “I am afraid of no one. My parents didn’t teach me how to be scared. They were Syeds,” he said. “They were ballroom dancers and I can speak Turkish.”

After his daring escape, made possible because of the cooperation of a junior officer who goes by the code-name Bobby, Musharraf is recuperating in Dubai, from where he will figure out how to serve the nation next.

      • That there was no press freedom in Pakistan is depressing enough; but, what is even more depressing is the mindless acceptance of Pakistanis that freedom of press was 'owned' by Musharraf to begin with.

    1. I guess people of Pakistan are bad at math if they don’t like Musharraf. PIA and PSM were making a profit. 12% LSM growth. FDI up every year. We don’t seem to like progress we rather stick with the dynasty families or a cricket mascot with western values. A bag of rice gets way more votes then doing the right thing. Musharraf for president ! Raheel Sharif for president ! Way better then to let the people of Pakistan choose in their fake democracy.
