Two more sack-packed bodies recovered from Indus River

Two more sack-packed bodies have been recovered from Jinnah Barrage on Indus River, taking the total number of bodies recovered to 24 in as many days, a private media outfit reported on Thursday.

According to the report, recovery of bodies dumped in Indus River continues for over past three weeks. It is suspected that these bodies reached Jinnah Barrage floating all the way from Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Akora Khattak and Attock district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

All the bodies have been sent to the Kalabagh tehsil headquarters hospital for autopsy. Of all the victims, two have been identified as Mujataba and Sharif Hussain.
