Petroleum prices and transporters

It is utmost inability/failure on part of this govt to have no policy when petroleum prices are decreased to forcefully instruct all transporters to reduce the prices accordingly. With petroleum prices increase transporters take no time to increase their prices with no control form govt either. Our kids’ school van transporter is one such person who increased the prices by whopping Rs200 per kid when petroleum prices went up only by Rs2 in November 2015. I wrote a letter at that time.

I spoke to him several times in the past month as petroleum prices have gone down almost Rs14 to do the same decrease to give a sigh of relief to already broken parents of this nation but his reply was alarming. As per him, has wheat, sugar, milk, rice, school fees and other prices decreased with the prices of petroleum? Why should he change any price and asked me to have no argument and simply pay the fees? So all parents of this nation are left at the hands of strong mafia transporters to deal with and nothing from govt or authorities to leash at their dogmatic attitude.

I would humbly ask the CJ SC to please come forward and take suo motu action against all transporters and ask the govt to come up with some way of addressing this fiasco to help parents continue their kids’ education.
