The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has contacted the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for the removal of incumbent Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad, a private news channel has reported.
“The governor is involved in forming a new political party,” the MQM complained to the federation, according to the channel.
The channel claimed that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) too is reportedly in favor of Ebad’s removal as governor.
Ebad was sworn in as governor of Sindh on December 27, 2002. He remains to be the longest serving governor by holding the office till date.
