TIME magazine listed Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi among the 30 most influential people on the internet.
The magazine also listed reality star Kim Kardashian, former Olympic athlete Caitlyn Jenner and United States presidential candidate Donald Trump. Time called Modi an “internet star” for his use of social media to “break news and conduct diplomacy”. The magazine cited the Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Lahore on Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif’s Birthday and the wedding of Nawaz’s granddaughter as examples.
Other celebrities featured on the list include world famous author J.K. Rowling, musician Kanye West and football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
